Man sued over alleged non-payment of loan
A local man is being sued by two companies for his alleged failure to repay a loan.
Gulfco of Louisiana LLC and Tower Loan of LaPlace filed suit against Stephen M. Rosiere in the 24th Judicial District Court on March 31.
Gulfco of Louisiana LLC and Tower Loan of LaPlace assert they provided a loan to Rosiere for which they claim he never made a payment. The plaintiffs allege the defendant provided a list of movable valuables for collateral on the loan, but has not provided them in lieu of payment.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
Damages in the amount of $3,884.79 are sought by the plaintiffs.
Gulfco of Louisiana LLC and Tower Loan is represented by Brian T. Langford of Shreveport-based Rogers, Carter & Payne LLC.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
