American Express files claim against credit card holder for unpaid balance
American Express Bank has filed suit against a card holder, claiming he has not paid loans as promised.
American Express Centurion Bank filed a lawsuit March 17 in the Jefferson County District Court against Brandon J. Turner, also known as Olton Turner, citing breach of contract.AmExcreditcard
American Express alleges in the suit Turner opened a credit card account with the defendant. The suit alleges Turner accepted cash advances and according to the terms of agreement he should pay off his balance and or object to any disputed charges.
According to the complaint, he has not repaid the advances or disputed the charges totaling $16,179.94.
The plaintiff is seeking the balance due of $16,179.94, interest and court costs.
They are being represented in the case by Houston attorneys Donald D. DeGrasse, Kevin T. McGuire and Lori M. Davlin of DeGrasse & Rolnick.
