A phone call from a credit card company may entitle you to money
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - If you received a call from a credit card company in the last few years, you could be entitled to some money.
There is a class action lawsuit for those who received an automated or a pre-recorded phone call from Discover Financial Services.
If you received a phone call between November 30, 2007 and September 10, 2013... you could be entitled a credit of 20 to 40 dollars.
Discover has established a settlement fund of 8.7 million dollars.
"This is a legitimate lawsuit, so if you have received a notice that you may be part of a class action you can take it seriously and decide whether or not if you would like to participate in the settlement," said Jeana Goosmann, CEO and Attorney at the Goosman Law firm.
