Pete Weston
Attorney/Owner

Pete has been practicing law for over 35 years. He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Consumer Bankruptcy and Business Bankruptcy and has been since 1994. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a business degree. He then went on to obtain his law degree from South Texas College of Law where he made the Dean's list and the Spurgeon Mock Trial Team. Prior to practicing law, Pete served as an assistant Professor at Sam Houston State University. Pete also holds an active real estate broker's license.

Pete is an AV Rated attorney by Martindell Hubell where he has a 5 rating out of a possible 5 by his attorney peers. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and Houston Associate of Debtor Attorneys. He is licensed in Texas State and Federal Courts. Pete is also a routine speaker and attendant of the International Bankruptcy Law Conference.

Pete has been married to his wife Kathy for over 30 years. His oldest son is a former police officer and currently works for the Department of Justice. His youngest son Mike followed in his footsteps to become an attorney helping consumers with debt.

When not in the office helping clients, Pete enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and three grandsons. Being an Eagle Scout, Pete is an avid outdoorsman.
